Program Manager Bob Hatton Says Farewell

Dear PFTP Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I'm writing to let you all know that I'll be resigning my position as Program Manager, effective January 1, 2017.

bob teachingI started with Portland Fruit Tree Project as an AmeriCorps member in September 2009, and it's been an incredible 7+ years. Together, we've harvested hundreds of pounds of fruit, cared for hundreds of fruit trees, engaged thousands of volunteers, and served thousands of people through our programs!

It's been an honor to work with such an incredible community of staff, interns, board members, organizational partners, and most importantly, our extremely passionate and dedicated volunteers! I've learned so much and consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work at PFTP for all of these years.

I'm sad to be leaving this behind, but I am excited for new challenges and possibilities as my wife and I hope to move to New England to be closer to our parents and extended family. Please feel free to contact me individually, if you have any questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Bob Hatton
Program Manager
