Business Giving

Sponsorships, team building, and more!

We are excited to work with the local business community to give back! While we’re open to ideas, here are some ideas that have worked in the past - talk to us about your goals and we’ll help find the best way to meet them in the service of Portland. For all inquiries, email info@portlandfruit.org.

Sponsorships:

  • Sponsor an Event - do you want your business name on some innovative, fun, far reaching events that also support a stellar organization? Look no further. Contact Kathryn Howard for more information. Ranges from $500-$10,000 depending on event and your budget.

  • Sponsor a Harvest - help us cover the cost of harvesting for a community member that can’t do it themselves. For $300 we’ll thank you at the event, provide shout outs on social media and in our newsletter, and you’ll get a tax receipt for your contribution. Contact info@portlandfruit.org for more info.

  • Sponsor the Sabin or Parkrose Community Orchards - community orchards cost $10k-$15k annually to care for and host approximately 100 civic minded, outdoor enthusiasts annually. Get your business in front of some of the most committed communities by sponsoring individual work parties ($250), or sponsoring a larger portion of the orchard space of your preferences. Contact info@portlandfruit.org for more info.

  • Have another idea? We’re open to creative opportunities! Contact info@portlandfruit.org for more info.

Group Volunteering/Team Building:

For our larger harvests, we would love to host your team! In addition to a great day of work (we can work with you on scheduling needs), we can offer team building professionals, educational opportunities, or more. Talk to us about your goals and we can discuss options. Fees for group volunteering help us cover the cost of harvesting as well as ongoing support to locations we work with and begin at $250. We promise you an event that will bring joy and a sense of having done something important that your team will talk about for years. Most team activities will happen at a community orchard site and could include mulching, harvesting, basic tree care, etc. based on the skills and interests of your group and what time of year it is. Interested? Talk with Tara!

Pro-Bono volunteer support:

If you are interested in having staff contribute time and skills, we’re open to talking. We are especially excited about marketing, fundraising, project management, and process improvement, but are open to hearing your ideas!

Workplace Giving:

We would love to attend your workplace giving fair and be on your list of organizations available to your employees! Wondering if your employer matches? Typically your Human Resources team will know!
