Community Cider Pressing Party

Community Cider Pressing Party hosted by Kitchen Share NE, with support from Portland Fruit Tree Project!

Bring your apples and pears to this free outdoor cider pressing event in the parking lot of Leaven Community Center (5431 NE 20th Ave), and take home fresh delicious cider (bring your own cider containers).

We'll have an electric apple grinder, and large press available for you to use throughout the afternoon.

Tour the kitchen library, become a member, and borrow tools like canning kettles and dehydrators too.

When: Sunday, October 13th, 1-5pm

Where: Leaven Community Center Parking Lot, 5431 NE 20th Ave in Portland

This is a private harvesting event scheduled ahead of time with this group of interested volunteers. As with all of our harvests, at least 50% of the fruit will be donated to a hunger relief organization in Portland.

A Repair Fair is a free, volunteer-driven event where people with repair kills help fix broken items such as pants, blenders, mixers, coffee makers, vacuums, bikes and more. Please no gas-powered equipment, TVs or microwaves.
